[TOP] [Introduction] [Specification of Facilities] [Major Contracted Research Projects]

Before some products are manufactured, there should be some sort of technology, and before that technology was developed, there should have been some excellent ideas. This process may be considered an eternal spiral that will not change, even in the 21st century.

However, the human desires and social needs that exist behind such a spiral, have shifted greatly, from quantitative values to qualitative ones, showing utmost diversification. These factors, in addition, become organically related with one another beyond their borders, while development lead time for connecting new ideas and technology with specific objects is becoming extremely shorter.
We believe it is the mission of our research and development activities to harmonize and sublimate these varied and diversified elements from a viewpoint of creating new added values and to rapidly introduce them to society as advanced and highly universal technologies.

The achievements of Hazama's research and development sector, accumulated for more than half a century, have created some of the most advanced equipment and facilities, including a new research laboratory in 1992. The Hazama Technical Research Institute has been tackling research and development in a variety of fields, such as construction work, design technology for civil structures and buildings, improvement of environmental performance, effective utilization and regeneration of resources, and conservation and repair of natural environments. Thus, aiming to realize a thriving environment where everyone can live peacefully, we have developed various epoch-making technologies.

Looking to the 21st century - new stage for expansion of innovative activities - we would like to make a bold, courageous challenge to create technologies that transcend existing concepts, there by grappling with the major theme of seeking symbiosis with the environment on a global scale and adopting a close, attentive approach to embettering and enriching individual life throughout the world. That is our original idea and philosophy.
